Who we are
MyGenPlan is a sales and customer-management platform for home standby generator dealers, operated by TSSG (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what information the platform handles and how we protect it. Questions can be sent to info@mygenplan.com.
Information we collect
Account information for dealer staff (name, email address, role); business records that dealers enter or receive through the platform, including customer contact details, home assessment answers, photos, appointments, quotes, and communication history; and technical logs needed to run and secure the service. Homeowner information in the platform is entered by the homeowner through a dealer’s intake form or by the dealer’s team, and is used only to provide the dealer’s services to that homeowner.
Google user data
Dealer staff may optionally connect a Google account to MyGenPlan. When they do, we request only the specific permissions needed for the features they enable:
Send email (gmail.send). Used solely to send proposals and customer correspondence that the user composes or triggers in MyGenPlan, from their own address. We do not read, store, or process the contents of the user’s mailbox, and this permission does not allow us to.
Calendar events (calendar.events). Used to (a) read the times and titles of events in the connected calendar so the booking calendar can show the user as busy and prevent double-booking, and (b) create, update, or remove appointment events for consultations booked through MyGenPlan. Event details are displayed to the user’s own team during scheduling and are not stored beyond a short-lived cache (minutes), sold, or used for any other purpose.
We store the OAuth refresh token needed to keep the connection working, encrypted at rest. Disconnecting the account inside MyGenPlan deletes the stored token; users can also revoke access at any time from their Google Account security settings.
MyGenPlan’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we use information
To operate the platform for dealers: managing leads and appointments, building quotes and proposals, sending the communications a dealer configures, scheduling visits, and reporting on the dealer’s own business. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Sharing
Information is shared only with the service providers required to run the platform — cloud hosting, email delivery, and SMS delivery providers acting on our instructions — and with the dealer whose business the records belong to. We disclose information if required by law.
Security & retention
All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS); credentials and OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest; access is limited to authenticated users of the owning dealer. Business records are retained while the dealer’s account is active and deleted on account teardown.
Your choices
Connected Google and Microsoft accounts can be disconnected inside MyGenPlan at any time. Homeowners who wish to access or delete their information should contact the dealer they worked with, or email us at the address above and we will assist.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top.
